Kerry & Sam’s Wedding

Saturday, August 18th, 2007

Kerry & Sam got married at the beautiful Wildwood Inn in Denton. They are such a fun couple and the wedding was full of laughs!

The girls got ready in a really cool room:

They really got a kick out of the bathtub!

Putting on the finishing touches:

The guys have it so easy! They played Wii before the ceremony:

The ceremony was short but very sweet:

This might just be the best cake topper ever:

The first dance:

Kerry got Sam first:

But retribution was quick:

A moment on the stairs:

We had fun with the rings:

Such a great throw…

…and such a great leap by the Maid of Honor!

Heading out to the car (which we can’t show here):

The Wildwood Inn at night:

Thanks for letting us be a part of your wedding day!

Jen’s Bridals

The heat on Saturday morning was sweltering, but Jen was awesome! She has such a great smile and easygoing personality. And she had the most beautiful flowers! We’re so excited for the wedding in September!

Nikkie & Daniel’s Wedding

Friday, August 10th, 2007

The minute we met Nikkie & Daniel, I hoped they would pick us to shoot their wedding; they were just so sweet, and seemed like so much fun. They did, and they are! Nikkie was the smiliest bride I’ve ever been around, and it was just a fun, happy day!

We started at NorthPark mall, where Nikkie got her make-up done at Nordstrom’s. It was the first time I’ve gotten to go along for the make-up session, so I was excited!

The beautiful dress:

Daniel got a pre-wedding shave at The Art of Shaving:

The guys played some poker before the big event:

The ringbearer was nervous about walking down the aisle:

Nikkie and her dad were all excited to walk down the aisle!

The ceremony at Scofield Memorial Church in Dallas:

Nikkie smiled throughout the entire ceremony! I love it when we’re able to get pictures of their faces, it’s so much nicer than just the backs of their heads – especially with looks like this:

Getting ready for the kiss:

The reception was at Watermark Community Church. Yes, that’s a fortune cookie!

Such a fun groom’s cake!

The first dance, with Nikkie’s mom taking a picture in the background:

A few minutes “alone” during the reception:

Woo hoo! I can attest to that birdseed being a little overwhelming!
