The weather was a miserable 100-something degrees for this session, but we were lucky to have such a cool couple. Amanda and Alex are fun & friendly and have an adorable dog, Rio, who joined us for a few shots. We went to Haggard Park in downtown Plano and even got to go inside the old train, which was the hottest place I’ve ever been in my entire life. We had so much fun though! Fortunately it’ll be much cooler for their outdoor wedding at the end of October!

Kimberly and Carlos are some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met – we had such a great time doing their engagement pictures. We even had a pretty nice day at the canals, considering how hot it’s been lately. They’ll be getting married in November and we’re looking forward to it!

A lot of you already know Heather – she’s been our fabulous, amazing assistant for the past 2 years. She and Daniel are getting married NEXT WEEK – in HAWAII!! Lucky. We’re lucky too though, because we get to go there too to shoot the wedding. So excited! We went up to Denton a few weeks ago to do Heather & Daniel’s engagement pictures. They brought their bikes for some extra fun and we took pictures until after the sun went down. We can’t wait for the wedding – and that’s an understatement.

Laura and Patrick lucked out and managed to get the last day of Spring for their engagement session. We went down to the Highland Park area and had a perfect day, which made up for raining out their first session time. We can tell these two have a lot of fun together – it’s going to be a great wedding!
