Halloween!

Tuesday, November 10th, 2009

For something a little different, I give you Halloween! We went to a friend’s party and Heather (our fabulous assistant) and I decided it would be fun to set up a “photobooth” type thing to document peoples’ costumes. It was a ton of fun and I think we got some cool pictures. Here are just a few of my many favorites:

And here we are:

Our Wedding

Monday, July 27th, 2009

Today you get to see something that doesn’t usually make the blog – pictures of us! Today is our seven-year anniversary, though it hardly seems like it’s been that long! So here are a few photos from our own wedding, seven years ago today, in a little chapel in Connecticut.

The chapel:

Vows or rings or something:

This is my most favorite of all our wedding pictures – taken during our very impromptu “first dance”:

Were we ever so young??

Summer ends, Fall begins

Wednesday, September 17th, 2008

It’s been a weird month for us! After an insanely busy summer of weddings, portraits, traveling, and other stuff going on constantly, we had an entire month without a single wedding, and only 2 portrait sessions. Crazy!

It’s about to pick up again for “the new Summer” (as in: Fall is the new Summer, since Fall weddings have become so popular over the last few years), but in the meantime, I’ve been using some of my time to work on my sister’s wedding pictures from July 2007. Luckily I wasn’t the real photographer, so she hasn’t been waiting over a year for her wedding pictures or anything like that, but we still took a lot of pictures, and I haven’t finished working on them yet. I came across this one today and just thought I’d share – because it makes me laugh.

My littlest sister (I have 3):

Stay tuned, we’ll be back to blogging regularly after this weekend’s wedding – and then it’ll be non-stop until November!

More from my Seattle trip

Wednesday, August 13th, 2008

While I was in Seattle I came across a coupon for the Museum of Glass, which led us to a day in Tacoma. Not only did they have a museum of glass – awesome – they had a great zoo/aquarium and a neat park. And oh yeah, it was like 70 degrees. Perfect.

And these last few were taken from the car along the freeway as we drove through Washington on the way to Idaho:

And that concludes this summer’s trips! We’ll be back to our regularly scheduled program of weddings in a few days!
