This was my second time to shoot at the Chapel at Chestnut Square, and I have to say that this might be one of my favorite wedding venues – it was definitely the perfect place for Lucy & Matt’s gorgeous wedding! All of the details were just stunning, from Lucy’s amazing dress to the tandem bicycle to all of the vintage touches. And possibly most impressive, they only had an hour to set everything up! They were married in the garden on the most beautiful day ever. In all my years of shooting weddings, I’m not sure if there was ever such a perfect day. I loved the way they looked at each other all evening, especially during the ceremony and immediately after; it’s so wonderful to be able to see love between a couple like that!

Jennifer + Mike | engagement

I’ve been looking forward to Jennifer & Mike’s engagement session for awhile! They’re such a sweet couple and I’m excited that I was able to capture their engagement photos. For some reason they got the only 90 degree day in the midst of this beautiful weather, but they were good sports about it and it was still a beautiful day. We started out at the gorgeous Japanese Gardens and then headed over to Sundance Square for a few downtown shots.

We did Jayme’s bridal session at the Cotton Mill just a few days before she flew to Mexico for the wedding, so we were extra extra careful with the dress! (My white sheet did not fare as well.) Jayme was such a gorgeous bride and totally rocked the bridal session!

Stephanie and John got married on a chilly, rainy day, but their wedding was full of warmth & love. They’re such a sweet couple and I was really glad to have the opportunity to capture their special day! They had a morning ceremony at the First United Methodist Church in downtown Fort Worth, and then headed over to the very cool Texas & Pacific Station nearby for brunch with family & friends. They had some of the coolest details ever (though I might be a little biased because I love books, which was their theme) – even Stephanie’s bouquet had flowers made of book pages. Everything came together perfectly!

Amber + Josh | engagement

Amber & Josh are such a sweet couple; I can tell they have a lot of fun together and have no trouble making each other laugh! They wanted to incorporate some meaningful locations into their engagement photos, so we did some at Starbucks, since that’s where they had their first date, and a few at the Water Gardens, where Josh proposed.

I’ve been anxiously waiting to meet this precious little one for a long time, and she was definitely worth the wait! Addie is so sweet and beautiful, she was so much fun to photograph – as an extra bonus she even slept for us nearly the entire time.

Jayme + Ryan | wedding

Jayme and Ryan gathered about 40 friends and family members for a gorgeous, amazing wedding in Playa Mujeres, Mexico. It was one of the nicest groups of people we’ve ever met and we loved spending so much time with them! Jayme and Ryan are so sweet and generous that it’s no surprise they had so many people in their life that were the same. They had their wedding at the beautiful Excellence Playa Mujeres Resort (which I’d highly recommend if you’re ever planning to stay in the area!) and all of the locations and details were perfect. The weather was threatening to rain, but other than about 5 minutes of super light sprinkles, the weather couldn’t have been nicer. After an intimate ceremony and obligatory photos on the beach, guests had dinner and then partied the night away. You could really tell that everybody had a fantastic time and this will be a wedding we remember for a long time!
