Dallas lifestyle newborn photos &#8211; one of my favorite types of sessions! Watching parents hold and love their new baby will never get old.
The first few weeks with your little one go by soooo fast. There are so many sleepless nights and the days pass by in a blur. Having a newborn session at home gives you the chance to really relax and snuggle with your baby. It&#8217;s a chance to really soak in all of the sweetness and all of the tiny details. And there is so much sweetness!
This adorable little guy was 8 weeks old when we did his newborn session. I know that a lot of people like to do newborn sessions within the first couple of weeks, but there are lots of benefits to waiting until babies are just a little bit older. The first two months of life are full of so many incredible changes, but are still totally a part of the newborn phase! As you can see from the photos, you can really start to see some personality. He even flashed a couple of quick (and adorable) smiles. But in the end he fell asleep and we got plenty of sweet, snuggly, sleepy photos! It was such a great mix of sleep snuggles and more interactive awake time.
This family also has a sweet Chihuahua who thought it was all about her. She tried to get in as many photos as possible and even got to have a few solo snuggles with Mom. 🙂 Be sure to scroll all the way to the end to see a cute doggie portrait!
