If you&#8217;re looking for an awesome place to do your maternity session, consider doing your maternity photos at home. Your own house is perfect for so many reasons.  First, it&#8217;s comfortable! There&#8217;s no need to walk anywhere or deal with weather that&#8217;s too hot or too cold. And there are typically plenty of places to sit. Second, it&#8217;s uniquely yours. Your home reflects you and what you value, and it&#8217;s not like anyone else&#8217;s! And finally, it&#8217;s a truly special way to document your baby&#8217;s first home and the first place they&#8217;ll ever live.
As a bonus, when you already have a child, it&#8217;s more comfortable for them too! Kids generally do best in a location that&#8217;s familiar to them, and nowhere is more familiar than their home that they already know and love. It really takes a lot of pressure off of them.
One of the few predictable things about little kids is that they&#8217;re unpredictable. I never know how kids are going to act during photos &#8211; some want absolutely nothing to do with the camera. But this adorable boy was the opposite! He wanted to be in all of the pictures &amp; always had a sweet smile to give. He&#8217;s so excited to be a big brother and always happily obliged when we asked him to give hugs or kisses. I loved the excitement and you can just feel the love in this family.
