He started off very serious for his one year session, but quickly warmed up and decided this picture thing wasn&#8217;t so bad. Which is a good thing, because his smile is so dang sweet! And he had lots of smiles once he was ready. Being lifted up int he air by dad and laughing with mom really brought out his sweet personality.
The last time I saw this family was for his <a href="https://stacietatum.com/blog/smitten-dallas-newborn-lifestyle-photographer/">newborn session</a>. To say and he looks a bit different now (well, a lot different!) is definitely an understatement. It never ceases to amaze me how much babies change in that first year. To me, that first year feels like the year with the most &amp; biggest changes. It&#8217;s really such a special time.
One year sessions are some of my favorites. It&#8217;s such a fun time of exploration, laughter, and snuggles with Mommy &amp; Daddy. He&#8217;s already taken his first steps, and he was proud to show off his standing and walking skills. He loved walking back &amp; forth between Mom &amp; Dad. Even though he&#8217;s already walking, he still has so many of those sweet, squishy baby details. It&#8217;s such a great age and this is such a precious little guy!
